Just missed a VWL contract....but happy!(Update)

I called 5 minutes too late on a great VWL contract at The Timeshare Store. At first I was bummed but why am I soooo happy.....

because DH wanted it also! This was the same man I had to convince to buy into DVC the first place 2 years ago.... I was hesitate to ask him about more DVC points but now....the hunt is on

Our first contract we bought BCV from Disney. Then we did a VWL add-on from TTS (actually more points than our BCV contract.) We just had our first VWL Christmas and it was magical Wishing you much pixie dust

I was told the buyer was a man and that he bought all three 100 point triples (VWL, BCV, BWV )

We bought a VWL resale through the Timeshare Store and have loved it. It took a while for DH to take the plunge but when he decided it was indeed a good value for us, we did it. (Although I still cringe when I think how I was all for it back in the early 90's, when it would have cost us much less!)

Took me over two years to get DH to agree to buy into DVC.

We bought our first contract at VWL through resale.

I had the add on bug as soon as we bought. Took me year and a half to get the idea into DH head that we needed to add on.

Last October went to F and W Festival and DH said "We have to add on. we NEED to be able to walk back and forth from Epcot to Boardwalk or BCV."

Gladly obliged to DH's need to add on.

Added on at the Boardwalk on our trip in December.

Good luck on your endeavor to purchase VWL through resale. The right contract will come though. I would call the timeshare store and let them know what you are looking for. They will call you when a contract comes in. I have heard that most of the great contracts go fast this way and thus some of the contracts never are posted on their website.

Hopefull the timeshare store will find what you are looking for quickly. The VWL are so worth the wait.

As far as adding on, plant the bug in DH's head EARLY!!!!

DH was a bit hesitant about more points especially since the going rate now is about $25 more per point than we paid 2 years ago

Now I truly know how much he enjoys our family vacations to WDW! He always made it seem like I was the big Disney addict...Ha! He is just as bad but just doesn't want to admit it

Finding the contract on Valentine's Day may have been the trick to DH saying "Yes"
