Just Me and DH- Want to Avoid Crowds on Our Next Trip- WHEN?!

Best experience ever was in September, last couple weeks.
Good luck and have fun!

We were just there from Feb. 1-9th. Very light crowds, nice weather.

Have gone the last week of January, first week of February and can't complain of the crowds or the weather. Shorts were on every day :cool1:

Over the past 16 years we have been July, August, with the kids who are now all grown up. It was horrendous with long lines and stifling heat, but we had no choice as we had to go during the UK school holidays. :headache:

Once the kids had left the nest we tried Mid September ( Quiet but we got a hurricane) Early December, quiet with nice weather. March, the parks were quiet but the weather was terrible, it was Daytona bike week and I have never seen so many cold bedraggled bikers (49degF at noon) and our favourite early May which normally has short lines and good weather.:goodvibes

Roll on May 2nd to 18th. :yay:

I agree whole-heartedly! Come on May 4-10!

Hi Toledo13!

My hubbie and I (no kids -- yes, we think they're nice, but no we don't have any -- isn't it weird that if you don't have kids, you have to explain that you don't hate them!?) have tried Disney World in late September and in mid-January, and both were wonderful. Late September had hot weather, swimming was fun, and I never felt it was overcrowded. And in mid-January the crowds seemed pretty thin, too. The weather was iffy then, though, and not good if you wanted to swim. But really, I thought it was a fantastic time to go. :dogdance:

I have never been there in the summer or during a school break. I'm guessing the crowds might be awful! But then, we're thinking of trying a visit over Memorial Day, so if we do, we're probably in for a crush of people!

Hope you have a good time whenver you go. pixiedust:
