just made ressies at WL and BWI

We just made our ressies at WL 5th floor, courtyard view. Has anyone stayed in that area? If so, do you have any suggestions about room requests? Can you see the boats from this area? Are there bunk beds in the room? Then, we are going to move over to the Boardwalk Inn, standard view. Any room request suggestions? What are the usual views with a standard view room? In either resort, do you think there is any chance in an upgrade?

Standard view at BWI is either the front of the resort (parking lot side) or the interior gardens/courtyards. Some of the garden side rooms have a view of Epcot. I would request upper floor, Epcot view. We stayed there for 1 night last year and did not make a request. We ended up facing the walkway to the bus stop.

As far as requests, 5th floor is probably already one, I have never heard of them assigning a floor until arrival. Bunk beds are also a request, but not guaranateed. I have stayed in a courtyard view twice, one on first floor and other on 4th floor. Nice view and you can see the lake from the balcony. The north side may even be able to see the marina.
