Just made reservations for the week after Thanksgiving!!

Five nights at my home resort of SSR in a studio. It could be a trip with another couple or just DW and me, either way I am very excited! We've never been at this time of year and can't wait to experience Christmas decorations, hopefully comfortable temps and crowds lower than I am used to! We are going to Vero this summer as we did last summer so this is our first trip back to WDW since June 0f 2008!

Given the closeness to Christmas we will being on a tight budget so I have a little over ten months to plan a light on the wallet trip. We have lived on a tight budget our entire married life so it's not like it is anything new. Sorry to ramble just excited here!

Any tips you have for that week let me know. Anyone know the parks hours generally for that week?

Yep, so excited I was feeling kinda lonely so I thought I'd respond to myself! Have a great trip!

We went the week after Thanksgiving this year and it was really great. Crowds were fine, weather was good, and the xmas decorations were up. We were in Magic Kingdom the day last year's American Idol was having his sound check. Lots of people around on this day. We really liked going this week and would do it again.
