Just made our Feb 05 reservations!!!

Well, I had to share it with someone (my husband thinks I'm crazy to anticipate vacations so far in advance). I just made our reservation for a week's stay at BCV for Sun. Feb 13th - Sun, Feb 20th. That's when the kids will be on winter break next year. Is there a good chance for decent weather then?

I also lengthened our time by tacking on a 4 night stay at the Marriott Grande Vista for $199! We had gotten a card in the mail inviting us to do so, so I thought, instead of using more DVC points, we'd take advantage of it. That way, we'll leave home on Wed., Feb 9th and stay at the Marriott until Sunday, the 13th. Thought we could take the kids to Universal during the first few days since we haven't done that yet.

Okay, I think I have my excitement contained now.

That's when I THOUGHT our break was, seems Presidents Day falls late so its the 21!, so we are off that week! bummer!!

I went that time of year down there for years. The weather will be just great. Sometime it may a little cold for sun bathing but with any luck it will be nice a warm-over 70 degrees. It does not rain very much in FEB either mostly sunny days. The crowds at the parks can be a problem especially if it is President's Week. At any rate you should see wome real good weather-have fun

I can understand your excitement! I made the first half of my reservation for next year's President's week this morning, too!
Although it can be crowded, I love going that time of year.
