Just made my fp+ ever! Now I'm stressing about the next one

I did not know I could change times. That opened up a whole new world for me. .haha. can you change which ride you want to fp too? Or does it effect the others? I'm glad my very first experience is with ak though. Ak is easier to figure out what to fp. ...even though now I keep rearranging things in my mind. It's hard because you want to make the best use of it.
I do have the app on my phone..so at least I knew that. .lol. I also know I can give my kids my mb since my son and I don't ride everest.
Oh yes, you are so NOT committed to what they spit out for you times wise.

I have found that if I did not want a 2nd ride and the ride (or show) I can to did not warrant "wasting" the pass, we even switched to for something else. This comes in handy sometimes.

You do lose it if you don't use it AND you fail to switch it before the window expires.

I'm seeing one of the last lion king times . I figured I might as well guarantee I get in

Think I will take the suggestion about kali and moving that back in the day a bit. We have to have time for lunch. I will immediately go to safari at rd. Then hopefully take another suggestion and be able to move dinosaur up with everest.

Dhs I think is going to be the biggest headache trying to figure out.

DHS really depends on what you want to do. We'll use FP for Toy Story, Tower of Terror and Star Tours and ride Rock n Roller Coaster at rope drop then prob hop to a different park after a midday break.

Not sure if you know about Mesaboy's FP+ thread? It has all the ins and outs of FP+. I would suggest you read his first couple of posts. :)

This is what is super confusing to me. I was given four options. The other 3 were kind of all over the place. I thought these were the only ones available? I read all the fp pages I could and I still find it confusing. If I change them, won't I lose almost of them? We have to do safari and everest. We also have to see lion king and fow. Those are the ones I don't want to miss. I can't just change one right?

The best thing to do is actually counterintuitive, and is to pick the options the farthest times away from what you want and then modify the times to where you like them to be.

Thank you guys..I just went and looked and it's easy to move around!!

Would this make more sense..

I can move
Everest to 10:45-11:45
kali to 1:40-2:40. Then fow is at 245. Its about 15 minutes long right?
Dinosaur doesn't have earlier times. I'm going to have to sit down and look at all the fow times and maybe I can do it in the morning. .

When can I get the 4th fp.. when all mine are used? I wanted to try and get lion king just to make sure I can see.

Lol I thought once I did the fp ..I would not stress. ..lol I dreamt about it last night..

You can get a 4th only after you use your first 3, and you need to get your 4th by going to a kiosk, you cannot do it on the app.

And in my notes I have FOW show as lasting 25-30 minutes.

So if I have a fp but the line is minimal and I don't use it, do you just lose it?

There isn't much else in ak I would want to fp. I love fow!
I definitely like the idea of moving kali later.
Is it possible to do safari and then low wait times for everest? Then I could move Everest later too?

If you come up to your FP+ time and you get to the line and you don't need the FP you can always try to change it to another FP for later and go in the standby line instead.

I did read Mesaboys thread..although I did not have time to read through the whole thing. That was very informative. Im nervous about not fast passing Safari. That is what we are going to do when the park opens. Ok ..this is stressful but turning out to be fun..This is what I figured out but I am not sure I can do it..so I need your expertise with a thumbs up or down!

My itinerary so far:
Rd: Safari immediately. Im going to be there by 8:15 and hope that is enough time? Do you think I can get on the safari because I did not fp it
10 am: Lion King : Its right near the safari figure I can go right over. Im hoping others are doing other rides so I can get a decent seat
10:50-11:50: Everest fp
11:50-12:50: Dinosaur
Lunch

Then I am going to move my 9:45 kali river rapids to the afternoon . Im trying to be close to the next show of Fow at 2:45. Then I am open and can do whatever else I wanted. I might head over to Nemo? Any other suggestions ?

Then my DHS starts tonight so I will stress all over again.

Im still going back and forth between Toy story and Rnr. My dh, and two dd's will ride the roller coaster. They could go on twice if we fp it. But my son is very scared of things and doesn't do a lot(like his mom). So I think Im leaning toward trying to fp toy story for him. The girls could always go to rnr first thing I hope. Is toy story like MIB in Universal?

Then I plan on fping Tot. Then I am unsure whether to do Frozen or Star tours. I had heard that Frozen could be a tough 4th pass but Star tours usually isn't? We plan on then doing whatever we can . We will most likely have to leave for dinner since I can't get Mamas and now am leaning toward Trattoria at the Boardwalk. Hopefully that isn't to far. Will come back and do Frozen fireworks and Fantasmic at 1030. Will be a late one!

I have to read up on the Frozen stuff. I don't want to miss any of it. I started reading the thread but it's hard to read through pages and pages when I have a short period of time.

My next day will be MK.. I think that might be easier to figure out ...we will fp the most popular ones and we probably won't get there at rope drop since we will be out late the night before. I have Friday(my last day) open to go back to mk or dhs..

Be careful with RnR single rider line. It took us as long as the standby line the time we tried it. When we got up to the doorway that goes inside, a sign warned that the single rider line could take as long as the SB line

I usually do the safari first thing at rope drop and it has never been more of a 15/20 minute wait. I walk straight there as soon as they allow us in and don't dawdle. I do it twice, with a FP for later in the day. You should be fine. Last year, I had an 8:20 Tusker House and went to safari right when we got out and the wait was not bad.

The new theatre for FOTL is nice. I've sat very close, just behind the reserved seating and also sat a bit higher up. Both were fine. I don't think I've ever had a bad seat. I think one year when we went ten or so years ago, we stood in the back. Even there we had no problems seeing everything.

Don't worry about planning every little thing at AK. Don't forget to look around and notice the details in this park. The tracks on the ground and all the huge plants and bamboo, the stunning architecture and theming. And make sure you take in the Pangani Trail and Maharajah Jungle Trek. You will be fine. :)

I would say that Toy Story is kinda like MIB because you're shooting at stuff, but with TSMM it's like a bunch of carnival games and you hit the targets. Like a ring toss, darts... The kids seem to love it and there is nothing scary.

Oh they won't do single rider..they must go together. Thanks matahari. I will definitely enjoy it! Your right about overplanning...I have a good plan ... I think.but if it doesn't work out..I'm fine with that too! We are flexible people. I'm not used to all this planning but it's fun.. I have been to ak a few times but never saw lk. I'm so excited.

So fping toy story is probably best and going straight to rnr during rope drop ? Can u get on toy story at rope drop? Or is it pretty impossible

I would get the FP+ for Toy Story and rope drop RnR.
