Just Made May Res, Any Suggestions?

I am SO excited!!! Just made a weekend reservation for May 12-14th at Port Orleans F.Q. Is there anything we should know about this time of year at Disney? Any suggestions about the French Quarter? It will be our first time at that resort. Would love to hear your tips and ideas!!!! Thanks!!!!

We just booked our vacation for POFQ as well. (Sept 27 to Oct 6). We're complete newbies as well. Soooooo excited!!!! We would also welcome any tips or suggestions.
