Just Keep Calling! AP at AKL at last!

I made the morning call every day for a week but finally got a room at AKL using the AP rate for our March trip. Never give up!

We had 5 nights all set at the Poly (also AP) and had nowhere to stay for our last two nights. Now all 7 are covered. Kids think we are coming home after 5 day trip! I love a surprize!

We have visited but never stayed at AKL. We took what they had available and it sounds nice....Pool View. Now here is my question; should I keep trying for an opening in a Savanah view or just stay with PV? Zebra Trail?

Artemus, if you have your heart set on a savannah view, then keeping trying for it. If you get it, great. If you don't get it, that's okay, too. I adore the AKL and will be staying there again soon myself. I don't care what my view will be (but I have stayed there before so I can make that determination).

I hope you have a wonderful time at the Poly and at the AKL.

That's great - congratulations on your score!! I have been calling 2x/day for about 3 weeks trying to get AP rate for our concierge stay, but no such luck!! This gives me hope!YAY!

BTW - we stayed sav. view last March, and while it is wonderful, we are going back in pool view this April and are still revved about it!! AKL is fabulous, and the Poly - you have our 2 faves in your trip!!

p.s. So jealous of your residing in FL!! Pensacola is so lovely!!
