I just joined DVC with 200 points at AKV today. They matched me with developer points and a December date. I joined the Kidani part instead of Jambo so I don't have to pay any maint fees until next year, yea! (we just went in April, so we need to build $$ again). Glad to have finally joined! :woohoo:

Any pointers on AKV?

thanks!

:welcome: home AKV neighbor!

I think you will love the resort.

Thanks for the warm welcome, we are so stoked! :yay:

We went to Hawaii about 3 years ago and stayed in a worldmark timeshare in Maui, I was pleased to see that if I ever want to do that again, I can with DVC. However, not sure that will happen soon as we NEEDS more Disney :thumbsup2

I see that we get discounts on Annual passes....does anyone know how much? Also, anyone know the costs of adding on the Deluxe dining per day?

thanks much!

CONGRATS and WELCOME HOME....:thumbsup2
I purchased our AP's yesterday and with Tax was $370.00 per person.Used the Disney Visa so got a little kick back there...:cool1:

the discount is a $100 off the regular annual pass and $125 off the premium annual pass.

the dinning plan is the same price $37.99 for per person per day for the regular dinning plan

don't know about the deluxe rates.

Welcome Home and Congratulations!!!

would buy AKV if BLT wasn't coming....

Welcome home Neighbor! We just bought our 200 pts last week! :dance3:

We also have a Dec UY.

We are using our developer points for our November trip and are seriously considering an annual passes as well since we really want to go back next yr and stay at our resort!!!! I figure we have until we arrive to buy our annual passes then again maybe I should do it before so I can get the Disney $$ for our trip.... I believe that your annual pass doesn't officially start until your use it for the 1st time? any one know for sure?

I think annual passes are prob the way for us to go as well. We plan on coming every 2 years right now, so if we get annual passes, is there a lower cost for renewal?
