Well almost....Looks like Gillian will still be in the hospital for a few more days, or up to 3 weeks (she was born 5 weeks early on Jan 21st, and has some mild apnea). She is getting better everyday, and is eating great. So her old man has to be in the hospital for the big game this weekend. Even though the majority of the time I spend watching the game will be on a small TV and not my big screen HD TV, she is worth it.

Since we did not know if Gillian was a boy or a girl, I ordered her hat the same day she was born so she would have something for the game. It is a little big and a winter hat, but it will be in her bassinet for the game. Wonder if she can eat pizza yet? :)

O I also submitted this to MSNBC's Super Bowl Fandom pictures, and got an editor's choice.

Congradulations.

Thats a great picture. She looks wonderful, especially in that hat!

GO PATS!!!

Great picture, Patriots gear nothwithstanding ;) . Hope little Gillian continues to improve! My youngest spent about 8 days in the NICU, and finally bringing her home was one of the happiest days of our life. Don't feed her any pizza just yet; that will not encourage the hospital staff to let you take her home.

I'm not sure who looks more content. Very sweet photo! Thanks for sharing it with all of us.

Congratulations. Very nice photo. My daughter was also born 5 weeks and had apnea. She was home after 1 week.
