I have a friend from nursing school that recently had a brain tumor removed. Thankfully it was benign, but this girl has also suffered through losing a child, having her husband be unfaithful and getting another girl pregnant right after their loss, divorce, loss of a parent, and being deployed at least once (maybe twice) during nursing school. These are just the things I know about, and the girl is only in her late 20's.
You would never know her story at first glance. She's not bitter, usually cheerful, friendly, dedicated, and faithful to her religion despite all her struggles.
She is truly an inspiration, and me thinking of her makes me thankful for the life I have... with my son, my family, my health.

, The saying if "he" brings you to it, he will bring you through it comes to mind!
