Just how much time at Hertz?

We finally booked a Hertz rental car through Interval International, which I haven't done in years. We are saving almost $200 from the quote from National (Hertz $255 and National $452) for nine days mid-size.
I'm bummed at the idea of the whole shuttle to the rental car lot. I remember that being a hassle the last time I did it several years ago.
Has anyone used Hertz during a busy time like July? If so, what was your pickup/dropoff experience?
Thanks.

I use Hertz practically every time I go to MCO. I have only waited on a shuttle one time and that was five minutes. I think it's pretty painless.

I agree that the Hertz shuttle is painless. When you go to leave do curbside check in then you won't have to take the luggage on the shuttle.

That's good to hear. I remember a very crowded shuttle, then a long wait at the rental window. Hopefully a 9:30 AM flight arrival means shorter lines.
