That is why I always go in and always check everything. Because paying attention really is too hard for them. I always order a #10 (fish filet) and end up with a 10 piece nugget. Bleh.

I've given up on asking for the sauce until I get to the window and they can put the little packets directly into my hand. I don't trust this "in the bag" business. Not with my nuggets sauce--that's way too important.

Last week I ordered 2 nugget mighty kid meals. Instead of the 6 piece nuggets they gave me 3 piece chicken selects. I take them back and the woman insists they have ALWAYS been the mighty kids meal. I told her not anywhere else in the country.

So I figured OK fine maybe it's something that's changed in the last week.

A few minutes later I look over at a table w/2 kids. I see 2 happy meal bags and a 6 piece nugget box. So I go over and ask them if they got that with their happy meal and they said yes.

Maybe that employee was trying to do you a favor: saving you from eating a lethal dose of McDonald's "food."

I went the other day and got my kids two 6pce mighty kids meals and order choc milk and a coke with them... the girl taking the order didn't hear it all- so I repeated- and then had to repeat again because she had 1 regular happy meal... and then had drinks wrong...

So I spoke very loudly and slowly- assuming that it was just a speaker malfunction and she couldn't hear me.

She came back with some attitude and says, "Can you not scream in my ear like that?"
I responded, "Can you be any more rude?"
Her, "Ugh!"
Me, "Can you have your manager meet me at the drive through?"

I then explain the ugly attitude to the manager she pulls girl off the drive through (as the girl complains) and new girl is on the drive through- I know it is a sad thing- our local McDonald's are all owned by the same people- and since the hurricane they have had such a hard time getting employees that when the owner was facing closing some of his stores he arranged for several Yugoslavian (not sure what actual country but that area) college kids to come to the USA- found them a place to live and got them enrolled in the local university- and now has a ready work force- just the other day he was saying how he'd like more local kids working for him... lol I think he should stick to the imports

When I go to McDonalds I always stop and check each bag, box, and wrapped product to make sure it is correct- I do this before I leave the drive through- I have gotten attitude about it and I always say- "Well when I can rely on my order being correct when I leave here I will happily speed up the process but since that is not usually the case I will continue to check for everything" There are times that we get the happy meal because of the toys- and it is very frustrating to get home and not have the toy... or to have an empty box of nuggets or missing the fries

But I tell you our local Taco bells are even worse- at least for dh- every time he goes they get his order wrong- as a matter of fact when dh volunteers to go get the Taco bell I consider it him telling me he loves me- the place frustrates him so much

At least they gave you some nuggets! My DM took the kids to McDonalds and checked the bag but did not open the boxes. She served DS his "nuggets" and he opened the box to find PICKLES! He was very angry (he does not even eat pickles) but DD shared her nuggets with him and all was well, although they both only had 2 nuggets.

After Lowes one day my DH drove through McD's and ordered a quarter pounder w/ cheese, only to get home and find out they forgot the hamburger meat. He was mad (sooo hungry) I was hysterical.

I just wrote a complaint letter to the main Mcdonalds address regarding never getting sauce at the local mcdonalds, I even said to the drive up clown "did you put sauce in there" and he says "yes, its i nthe bag" so I trust him and go back to work and then have to eat dry chicken stripes because bozo couldn't remember to put sauce in my bag! The send me coupons for 3 free value meals! Hope I get sauce for those!!!!
