WOW I feel so much better now. I thought I was the only mother who had pig stys for kids rooms. We have just spent the last week painting and wallpapering the kids bedrooms and the bathroom. The kids rooms were such a mess I didn't want to even start, but I figured I would clean as I painted. It took much longer than I ever had planned, and all I have left at this point is the bathroom.(its painted I just need the towel racks hung and boarder finished) These kids are awful.....(I am not proud of this at all) but their older DB was the VERY worst. I had to wait until he left to even have a chance with keeping a head. No kidding I found the backseat of a car in his room last year (he use to install car stereo systems) and that was when I said NO MORE. I stopped even going upstairs at that point. Now that he is in Iraq I felt it was safe to begin cleaning. We made so many trips to goodwill this week, I don't even have to ask for a reciept, they just start writing when the see me pull up. The rooms look nice and they are clean and sorted and ready for spring. I cleaned out closets and drawers and toys and books. everything. The rooms are painted with new blinds and bedding. They better keep them neat and clean at this point or I am moving into a hotel.....sorry I didn't mean to make the post so long, but once I started venting, I just let it all hang out!!!!
