Going for first time in June and trying to plan details. We are planning on being there for rope drop. We plan on riding Space Mountain first and Buzz. Then want to go to Frontierland for Splash and Big Thunder. How long will it take us to get there? Should we ride the train or walk? I'll be with a 6yo. He really wants to do the thrill rides so we are hitting them first in the morning and just take the rest of the day as it comes. Any help will be appreciated!

At rope drop be prepared for the mad dash to Dumbo and space mtn. You might want to consider sending one person over to space mtn and get fastpasses while you and DS head over to frontierland for splash and BTM. If you decide to do space mtn and Buzz first the actual walk (commando style) should not take more than 10 min.

I second the idea of sending your most fit person to Space Mountain for Fastpasses.. the rest of you should ride the train to Frontierland- nice and relaxing. Have your FP retriever meet you there. Hit the rides there and then mosey over to Tomorrowland with your FPs. I'm not sure about Buzz after that, linewise, though??

Your other best bet would be to send your fastest person for Space Mountain FPs while the rest of the group can move a little slower to Buzz. Your FPs should almost be up after that (maybe you could sneak in a ride on the TTA- my favorite- if you have time to waste) and then head over to Frontierland.

If you head immeadiately to Tomorrowland and ride Buzz first followed by Space, Buzz gets started faster. It will be about 9:20 when you get off them both. Walk over to Frontierland and you will be able to still practically walk onto the rides there. If you find the wait is too long in Frontierland for Splash, get a FP then do Thunder and the Haunted Mansion before the FP is ready.

It will probably take about 10 minutes to walk from Tomorrowland to Frontierland, but since you have a 6 year old, riding the train might be fun- it takes longer, but will let you conserve a little bit of energy for later in the day.
