Just home want to plan my next trip! Advice, please

I just got home last Thursday from my four day trip to Disney with my 1 yr old and 3 1/2 yr old. We had an awesome time. It was hot, but the kids loved it. It really was a magical time for them. When we returned my little boy asked me if his Daddy could build him a house at Disney!

My mom very generously took us on this trip. I would love to plan another trip with my husband and the boys. Heck, my folks can come again too, if they want! The more the merrier. My question is - how can we afford it?

What are your best tips for making a Disney trip with 2 little ones affordable? I think we would have to fly as we are coming from Mass. Are there websites to monitor? Discounts to take advantage of?

Not sure if Southwest flies out of Mass. or not. But they have great fares. If you download Ding from their website it alerts you of new deals. I downloaded it and was able to save $300+ on our flights alone, because I was alerted when my flight was available and was offered an extra 15% off discounted rates through Ding. I also got the Disney Visa for the perks and saved a little bit of money when I first booked, and also accumulated about $50 of rewards points which will be given to my son for souvineer money. We chose to go in the off season for less crowds and cheaper hotel rates. We chose a Value resort to save money...and how much time do you spend in the room anyway? We also lucked out and got free dining (added after we already booked) and saved $600+ there. We ended up saving about $1000, but I started planning back in November for a September trip and asked advice from anyone willing to give it. I also had a travel agent (free) who helped me save money. For three of us (2 adults + a 4 yr old) for 8 days, 7 nights, Flights for 3, Free Dining, Park tickets for 7 days, Hoppers, Water park & more option for a grand total of $2,265.45, and then we are taking $1000 spending money with us. I feel like we got great deals but it took A LOT of planning! Good luck!
