And i'm not thrilled to be here for sure!! I miss it already!
Anyway, heres what Ive got to say!
We were a "Grand Gathering" ten of us in all, 2 families, 2 moms 2 dads and six unruly children
This was the third time the ten of us have gone together, however this was the first time we had an official name to the group, pretty neat. I did notice lots of large groups traveling together this time.
We spent our first four nights in POR, I had stayed there 2 years ago, this time I wasnt very pleased. Its just a little to dark and old, tiny ants or some sort of critter kept showing up on the wood shelf above the sink area. I didnt like that to much. The bed felt a bit worse for the ware too.
Now on to POFQ for the next 8 nights. Well I have never stayed there, so I cant say to much on the before and after, however I can say I really really liked it there. The beds have new mattresses, the colors are very pretty, I just really enjoyed it there. We had a water view room, with benches just outside my door. I sat there several times just enjoying where I was. I liked their food court alot more too, It wasnt as crazy as Riverside.
The parks were very busy. Did early entry in MK to see Philharmagic, and get my 4yo twins on their favorites.
Got to Animal Kingdom early one morning and hit the Saffari first, best idea, short wait and lots of animals, in fact, we were stuck for a few mins. as a giraffe was walking in our path!!! It was awesome.
Due to the new info programs on Disney channels at the resorts, I discovered the Crepe stand, OH BOY
It was luscious, HIGHLY reccomended.
Oh and the French pastry, UGGGGGG TEN INCH HIGH CREAM PUFFS
Last night we saw the Nelsons in concert followed by Illuminations, that was great.
Im rambling, but its all so jumbled right now, im not back to reality yet, it takes a while for me to adjust to normal life after being in my magical world
