Just Hearing the Music

from a Disney movie, does it make you nostalgic?? My 10yo and her friend are in her room and they just started watching Lady and the Tramp. Immediately I got all teary eyed just hearing it, remembering her at 3 or 4 watching it over and over, remembering our first Disney trip when she was 5 and all she wanted was to find Lady and the Tramp....
Man, I miss my happy place right now, and I guess I'm just a little put off that she won't stop growing up

YES! I feel the same way. My little girl is going to be 21 on Monday. In 1990 For Christmas she got The Little Mermaid... she LOVED that movie.... by the time she was 2 she knew it forward and backward.

The Christmas Specials make me feel the same way too.

Oh lord, 21?? Blagh, I know that in just a blink of an eye mine will be there...I don't know where the last 10 yrs went. I'm such a sap. Our last trip was a bit different too, as the magic is changing for her, I'm not saying the magic is gone, as I feel it completely as a grown up ...it was just....different. I'm going to go sit outside her door and listen to the movie

Lady and the tramp is a beautifully created animated film with melodic singing.

Hearing Disney music either results in two things for me:
a singalong
or
tears



Disney music is the best!

Most Disney movies have really terrific songs and scores. If you removed the music the total impact of the movie would suffer.
