Just happy!

I was kinda bummed today. I did our taxes today and We aren't getting back much. DH is is deployed and has been since Dec 07 so we weren't taxed. We have a trip planned and for April and I was gonna use the the tax money to pay off the trip. Well I can't.
I am listening a Disney podcast and frying dinner (I'm on a lite carb diet lol) I started thinking. Self you always make a way. You can do this
After I talked to myself I felt better. I want my husband's trip to be great! And it will. I can pay it off by Feb 24 we just can't go out. But I just wanted to share. I have this over whelming calm after I decided this. I'm happy and excited again.

I am so glad that you made the decision to "make a way." Your hubby deserves this.

Personally I think that all deployed service men and women should get an automatic trip to Disney! Have fun and don't look back! Those missed dinners out will look like a walk in the park once you are there and having the time of your life!

They are offering a lot of military discounts right now and the buy 4 nights get 3 free. Maybe you can call and have one of those discounts put on your reservations and save you some money. Even though it was booked before the deals came out, you can still add it to your packages, I know 2 people that did it, one save $1500 and one saved $600!!(the trips were actually paid in full for one and hey just refunded her back the $600 on her credit card) And if you are going before Mar. 29 (I think that is the right date) you can get a $200 gift card at check in. Just a thought. I'm so glad you decided to still go. And thank you to your husband and your family for all that he does for us and all you and your family sacrifice for us!!!

I too, would like to thank your DH for all that he does serving his country, and to you for your safrifices too. Having said that I agree with the previous poster, check around to see if you can apply better deals... GOD BLESS your family and have a wonderful vacation.
