I had to laugh outloud on the phone... Looks like we are not the only ones dealing with their IT issues....

I own Disney stock BTW, do they have general share holder meetings? Annual reports etc..?? Thinking of crashing and screaming " No dividents, invest in IT!!"

I hear what you are saying. I was placed on hold by the CM on the phone about an hour ago and waited 20 minutes on hold by him before he came back and told me I would have to call back. I love Disney, but there is no excuse with their ever-ongoing issues with their website and now their phone support. I would rather see them pay whatever they need to pay and get these things up and running properly before they build another DVC resort. :headache: :rotfl:
 
I don't think that the Fairy God Mother and Tink combined could provide enough magic to fix Disney's IT.

Yes, they have shareholder meetings and annual reports. Perhaps they should have shelved John Carter and invested in IT instead! :scared1:

I tried to cancel a resort reservation online, and it instructed me to call. I spent twenty minutes entering/saying all my information to the automated system, only to be transferred to someone who informed me of their "magical enhancements" and how she was unable to assist me. I nearly laughed when she said that - I don't know how they can say that to person after person without cracking up.
 
I take some solace in the hope that whoever is responsible for these enhancements will be fired but am scared that they will end up at my company.
 
They could hire me to run the IT department! Although I am not sure I would want to work where I play - it could ruin some of the magic.

Sorry, but I liked both movies. At least they played well, without glitches, and didn't lose my ADRs or fail to unlock my room.
 
As an operator in a call center you have to understand that it is out of our hands. Ts gets an order from someone sitting at a desk with very little concern over our inconvenience. They just want a change made. And sometimes it's the tester that failed. Yes, I was a tester a long time ago, too. There are so many things that are connected that often get overlooked. Patience and understanding is something people are short on these days.
Plenty of times I am cursed for tech issues that are out of my control.
