Thats great! We wont close till Decemeber, which is fine. We dont need it till next year.

Our offer at TSS was accepted on August 18. We were told closing around October 17.

The owners dont want to close before December since they have a trip planned using the points. We already have a trip planned for this year, so it was fine for us. Plus I think we got a better deal since we are flexible on the date. We got 210 points October for $80 a pt.

Another note worthy of mentioning for the closing duration...

Once the buyer and seller return their contract to the realty agency, the ROFR can immendiately begin.

Example: I made an offer to purchase on Friday, the buyer accepted, we both returned our contracts by early Saturday morning. At 11am Saturday morning I received an email form TSS the contract went to Disney for ROFR and we would know within 30 day from that date.

In this instance if seller and buyer are swift, the entire transaction could close within 45 days.

Talk about moving swiftly...

I am selling mine (boohoo) and sent the paperwork back immediately yesterday morning and hopefully the buyer will too. Our paperwork had a closing date of October 18.
