Just great...uggh!....UPDATE Post #21

Got my xray results...no fracture. Foot is still a little weird so going to the foot doc couple days before we leave anyway just to fill him in. Should be OK (I hope) so no ECV for me! Thanks for all your replies.

Don't we just love a happy ending! :goodvibes

Good to here a fellow hockey fan is okay!

I pulled something in my knee when we were at Myrtle Beach this summer. Spent a good amount of time with an ice pack and hobbling around.

Don't even ask how I did it.

Simba20, isn't is weird how these things can happen.

Still no xray results (hopefully tomorrow), but the swelling has been gone for days and no bruise anymore. Now the rest of my foot hurts....my heel, arch, side of foot. I'm thinking all this other stuff may be planter fasciitis so I'm rolling my foot on a frozen water bottle (as I type this) and wearing insoles to support my heel and arch. Have an appt with the foot doctor 2 days before we leave 'cause that's the earliest I could get in. I think I'll make it around WDW slowly but surely.

I wouldn't wish plantar fasciitis on anyone! Take care and try not to over do it at WDW. Last time I had that I kept re injuring my foot over and over. I was too impatient to get back to my routine,;) so I always over did it when my foot felt good.

BTW, I'm an Avalanche Fan and I can't believe I've been giving a Flyer's fan advice!

Avalanche are OK in my book. Now the Penguins, Rangers, Leafs, Devils, etc. etc.....are a whole other story. :lmao:

glad it was nothing serious!!! i never got mine checked...too much of a wimp....don't want anything to mess with my disney plans!!!! toe is still on the fritz....then last night i went and dropped the bottom stand part of a fan on the same foot!!! bad foot karhma i say. it is still soar but i made it through all the packing today...just tomorrow to finish up then me and my acident prone feet are on our way!!!!!!

Glad you have no fracture to deal with. Now you can go on your trip without worry -- just take it easy and maybe elevate and ice it every night.

I have plantar fasciitis as well. Took the shots and nothing worked. Finally, the doc had me wear a boot at night that would keep my foot flexed as I slept. Made a huge difference. I also wear my sneakers ALL the time. My days of heels are pretty much behind me, but that's okay. I work from home, so I don't have to deal with fashion issues.

The past couple days it's been great but still going to the foot doc tomorrow just to inform him what happened and while I'm there going to ask about other issues with my feet

But due to a combination of worrying about my foot, some co-worker issues and just the preparation of the trip I now have anxiety. Mostly physical symptoms...acid reflux acts up, muscle tightness/tension/twinges,etc. etc. If it's not one thing it's another....sheesh!
