My husband and I exchanged gifts yesterday morning as we are leaving this morning straight from work to stay with his sister for the holiday and we did not want to lug our stuff down and back home again. Normally I give my husband a list of things I want, this year I only had a very few things on my list as there really wasn't much I wanted or needed. He did get those things on my list but he also bought some more stuff, and while thoughtful, they really isn't anything I would want or use. Most of them had me going huh? (he got "suckered" into a bunch of stuff from the kiosks at the mall where the people bug the heck out of you to check out!) I did not mention this to my husband, I pretended like everything was great all the while thinking -definitely making an itemized list next year!
The one gift I really love, a new cell phone (that was on my list of course) is broken! The charger is stuck in it and will not come out (so it's not technically broken if I don't mind walking around with an electrical cord hanging off my phone)! That's what I get for being critical of the "thoughtful" gifts he spent hours searching the mall for!
