Just got that UNEXPECTED CALL :sad1:

My best friends MIL died suddenly at the hospital. She has 10 kids and many, many, grands and even a few great grands.

I am asking for prayers for her kids as most of them just left the hospital and then she died. This was TOTALLY unexpected!

My friend & her dh are my girls godparents.

I truly believe that some people die with family around them because that is what they want while others die alone because they don't want to put their family through the pain of having to see them go.

My Gramma died after my mother gave her permission to leave us, knowing that we were planning to leave the hospital within minutes of this. She wanted us to be there. Maybe she was afraid to go alone.

My GFIL waited until all of his 9 children left his house at 11:30 one night. He died about 15 minutes later. He was always a strong man and probably thought he'd be weak if he let his children witness his passing.

Who knows? But that's my theory. I am sure that your friend's MIL wanted to face her journey alone and to spare her children.

I hope that your friend and her DH's siblings find God's peace very soon after this tragic turn of events.

I don't think any of the kids were in the room.

I haven't heard back from my gfriend but I did speak with her son & he had a good cry & he is waiting for his parents to come home from the hospital.
