Just got renaissance hotel $28 on priceline

We wanted to stay near the airport the night before our cruise. I bid $28 and got the Renaissance. Has anyone stayed here? Could you tell me how are the rooms? How is the pool area? Any comments good or bad is appreciated. Thank You.

WE stayed there last month for a night after our cruise. It was a very nice hotel. I got it off priceline also. They did have a complimentary airport shuttle. The pool area was good enough, standard pool with a hottub. They did have a gym. I didn't really investigate much, as we were all cruised out and too tired to do much. HTH

We have gotten the Renaissance two or three times through Priceline. We get there too late to use the pool, but we did eat at their restaurant once and loved it. The rooms are great (especially at that price), and the shuttle service was nice & prompt. Our last stay there was for our Labor Day weekend cruise. I think you'll enjoy it. Usually the Marriott comes up for that price, but every now and then it's the Renaissance (which, by the way, is located across the street from the Marriott hotel area, and still well within walking distance of several restaurants).

I've never stayed at the Renaissance Orlando Hotel Airport, but I like Marriott's Renaissance brand. Renaissance hotels tend to have more individuality than regular full service Marriott hotels.
