I am glad that they reduced the period to 60 days from 120 days, which was too long IMHO. However, the change raised a big question for me.
My situation: I am debating whether to get an AP (for the Best Rate on a room) or a non-expiring park hopper and use AAA rates. What the BR rate would be for our stay (if available) will determine our choice.
Since I'd have to book today (8/28/2005) in order to get the AP best rate, would someone here kindly tell me if the BR is available (and, if so, what the stated best rate per night currently is) for AP holders (two adults) for the following dates/hotels:
1. From 10/28/05-10/31/05 (3 nights) at POR or POFQ. [From prior posters, I gather that this rate should be $109/night + tax, but am not sure of the details or availability]
2. From 11/2/2005-11/5/2005 (3 nights) at BC or YC.
If we get the AP, we expect that we'll probably take another trip next October (vs. a non-specified time in the future if we get the park hoppers), but a great AP room rate would tip the balance in favor of buying an AP.
Thanks in advance!
