and I asked if we had any codes by our names. He looked for a while and then stated with us going in May he could not CONFIRM but he wanted to let me know to check end of Feb beginning of March something would be coming out that would benefit me????!!! He was a very nice guy and helpful so I will be looking! He knows we don't have AP or anything like that so it is just a basic reservation with DDP. Here's hoping!

Yep that's consistent too when you look at mousesavers and see when codes were released in prior years

Wow, I think you got some extra information from that nice CM...I was beginning to worry that the only discounts coming out for the general public were those booked bounceback! I'm all over the boards at the end of Feb.!!!!

So, my understanding is that if we have DDP, my only hope for a discount is if it is a package discount. This is what the CM said, at least..so here's hoping for a package discount!!

AAA can book the MYW package with Dining. YOu get about 15% off the total package price I beleive.

This always confuses me...last year I got a 40% off code for "room only". We booked WL. We still got the dining plan along with our MYW package...the CM did say that we couldn't do a discount on the room and combine it with free dining, but that was the only restriction. Would it make sense for Disney to tell people they can't PURCHASE the dining plan? Is this something new?

For some reason I'm having a hard time getting going on our summer vacation plans. It feels like a lot of things have changed and I don't know how it works anymore! I HATE that!

This is exactly correct.

The discounts being discussed currently are off the ROOM ONLY portion of your stay. Not off the dining or the tickets... those are full price.

There was a code last fall that gave you a free ticket upgrade and about 10 to 15% off the room portion of your package. That's the only 'combo' discount I can remember.
