Just got off phone with CRO about AKL

Exactly how did you get GF, they told me the only thing available for my dates was BC/YC or SSR. Do you have any tips on getting into GF? What were are your travel dates? TIA

I too got GF, but actually wanted BC/YC!

Here is what I did. I went online to see which deluxes had availability for our dates )we need 3 rooms. All that was showing was GF and BW. Of the 2, I preferred GF. Next, I called my TA who was aghast that Disney did not notify AAA of what was going on at AKL with the construction. I told my TA that they were offering SSR, but we did not want SSR as we did not want to have to deal with the pullout sofas for a week. I told the TA to tell the CM we wanted a deluxe--preferably BC/YC ( ) but that she had authorization to "settle for" the GF. Next thing I know, my TA is leaving me a message saying we got GF Lagoon view for all 3 rooms!
