Just got my cruise Docs!!..questions

Well, I'm bouncing off the walls holding my cruise docs. No upgrade but I'm still SOOO Very happy!!

So, do I have everything filled out before we go?
Also, DH is planning to drop us off at the port, return the car, and take the shuttle back. What will he need to get in? Can I check us all in while he's gone? Or will he need to check in by himself?

I would go ahead and fill your info before getting to the terminal so you'll be ready to go......DH can drop off the rental but he will need a picture ID, either DL or passport or some other government issued ID card with photo, to get back in the terminal via the security gate....you can check him in as long as you have his docs and picture ID or passport, if the DL is the only picture ID he has, he'll probably want to have that with him to return the rental. My DW check me in while I was running back and forth to the car to get things I forgot and had no problem at all. You should be ok with checking him in, however, they probably won't give you his KTTW card until they can verify him at the check in desk.....Hope this helps somewhat......Andy

We received our docs 4 or 5 weeks before our cruise and DCL rang us the week before sailing to let us know of our free room upgrade and to change the room numbers on the docs, so I'd hang on a bit and hopefully you'll get an upgrade (Good Luck !!!)

I am not sure that they will let you check your husband in if he is not physically present.

We traveled in Aug 2003 and while I was the only one to stand in the check in line, I had to call my DH and DD to the counter so that the Guest service rep could match the id to the person. She actually looked at our driver's licences and us at the same time.

Once she verified our identities, my DH and DD were free to return to roaming the terminal and get photos with the characters.

I would call Disney to be sure.
