What I want to know is, if I'm not satisfied with the new flights, can I get a refund of the tickets? The times only changed about 20 minutes, but we're not even flying, we're driving down instead. So I'm thinking if I can get my money back on this I'll save myself $1000.00!!!!!! Any thoughts????????? Thanks!!!!!!

well its only a 20 min change so 'm not sure how they would handle that. did it change in both directions? if so then yes you should be able to get the refund. if you push the issue with consumer affairs then you more than likely will get the refund. be nice yet firm.

Personally, if I were a reservation agent and someone wanted to bail over a twenty minute change, I'd laugh at them. Twenty minutes is not an inconvenience. Several hours is.

I guess I think you are wrong by trying to play a twenty minute change to get a refund, when you really don't want to fly to begin with. It's your choice, take your lumps. MHO.

When are you leaving? If it's not for at least a couple of weeks, they'll probably change it again. If they added a layover, they'll probably offer you a refund. They offered me a refund when they cancelled my flight completely and I had to rebook.

Based on Rule 240, if the schedule change is less than 90 minutes, you are not entitled to a refund. That doesn't mean you can't get one though ... the worst they'll do is say no ...
