We just got home to Winnipeg. Had the time of our lives with DW, DD6 and DS4. Did 5 days on Mar. 1, 3, 5, 7, and 8. Hopped multiple times between parks each day. I thought I'd give a bit of feedback from our trip.

First off...they did NOT check my ID when I entered the parks on the 1st. I had scanned my passports just in case. Every time we entered, I could see it said "Verify Canadian ID" on the CM's screen and they simply never asked for anything. Ever. We went straight to the gates from day 1 and blew through every time. I only saw them check a California Drivers license once.

Second...parks were MUCH less crowded than I was expecting. I kept on hearing about these massive massive crowds. We saw it a bit on the Sunday, but that was it.

I rode RSR every single day (it's my fav ride). Four days with FP's and the other DW and I did single rider while the kiddies were with relatives for the evening. I would just watch the FP times on the Disneyland app and hop over to the RSR machines no matter where I was for the time that worked for us.

Multiple evenings had rides like Junkyard Jamboree (DS's fav) and Rollickin Roadsters as walk on's. I was shocked. We rode absolutely everything we wanted to with very little wait time. Only one that was long was Peter Pan which clocked in at 35 mins. That was the longest we waited for any ride the entire trip.

Being with little kiddies all the time was a challenge. They certainly tested the limits of my patience. But the "magical" moments certainly outweighed all those by a ton. The kiddies were pretty much terrified of any type of thrill rides before this. They went on Splash, RSR multiple times, and DS4 even did the Jedi training against Darth Vader (he was petrified of any type of mascots before this). He was so brave and we were so proud. Minnie's Breakfast was also a HUGE hit. We did the trip on a pretty tight budget and splurged for this...SO glad we did! Worth every penny.

I'd like to give a huge thanks to all who post so frequently on this forum. I've been planning this trip for four months and so many of you helped in so many ways. I really really appreciate all your efforts. The biggest thing was how to maximize FP's while in the park. Especially being able to get FP's at each park at the same time. That was a really big deal for us.

We are looking forward to our next trip in a couple years. If any of you have any questions about our time at DLR, please let me know. I'm happy to pay it forward in any way I can.
