I just was able to get my first night at BWV that originally was not available. I am starting to get excited about my first time as a vacation club owner!! I was very surprised to be able to book with so short of a window before arrival. I will be going may25-30.--one of the things that was holding me back for so many years from buying was that i was afraid of not getting in when i usually dont have a lot of notice before my vacations. Did I just "get lucky" this time (just called a few days ago for vacation)? I am staying at a one bedroom this time-- are they usually easier to get than studios?? sorrry for all the questions but i am brand new to this and just overly excited about getting in at all-- especially at the prospect of staying at the boardwalk --I certainly would not have paid cash for what it would have cost for a 1 bedroom--but I guess thats the reason for buying anyway!!

Another question--
Where to buy groceries

Is there any place at the BWV to get provisions with out going to a store before arrival. We like to eat out most of our meals but have 2 small boys so a few things would be good--Milk, snacks etc..( ithink i remember a small store there)
What do most of you guys do?? (Sorry again for being such a "newbie")

Congratulations! I will be at BWV the same time as you, in a std studio. I also don't live that far from you back up North either.

What we do, is we get limo service over from MCO which includes a grocery stop. I also pack snacks in my carry on and luggage.

I always buy milk at the General store on the Boardwalk. I'm just funny about those things. You can also buy snack food there too. There is a also a grocery list that you can order for and for an additional $5 (I think), they will deliver what you order to your room. The prices are ok, some are comparable and others are outrageous.

Good luck and maybe we will see you at BWV. We had a dd, she is 6 and a ds who is 2. We will be checking in on the 25th after our 3 night cruise.

Thanks for the info carone0318 -- I sent you a pm.

Any one know more about the grocery service--where to find info on it??

Just wanted to say Hi neighbor. I live in ridley park,pa. When we go we usually stop at the Super walmart on the oceola parkway, but we are comming from the Florida Turnpike and not sure where you are comming from? We have relatives that live in Boca Raton and always go there for a few days either before or after our disney stay so we usually fly into west palm beach or fort lauderdale not mco ( I guess this is where your comming from) I'm pretty sure there is a publix on 538. Goodings is very expensive but a quick in and out. (something like a fresh feilds if your familiar with the main line?) We are going just about 1 month before you (april 26 to may3)We also own at the boardwalk you will love! Have A great time!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
