We just received our documents for our 11/14 Wonder 3 day cruise. We are staying at WDW prior. The documents say that we only have to check in once.

Does this mean we just show our WDW room key and get right on to the ship? Sounds too easy

Is there anything else we need to do when we get to the ship?

Yes it really is that easy MICKEEP. Just have all of your paperwork filled out, have the necessary IDs ready, etc when you check in at the resort. They'll keep you posted on when to put bags aside for transport to port, etc. When you get to the port you'll go through security (used to be as you boarded now I understand it is outside the terminal) and that is it. Have your KTTW cards handy as well as picture IDs for boarding.

Very easy! You'll get dining rotations, etc. in your stateroom.

Yes, it is that easy. In fact, the room key for WDW will also be your room key on the ship.

If you stay at WDW for just one night, the night before the cruise, can you also check in at that resort/hotel for the cruise the next day? :D

You have to be on DCL's Land/Sea package to be able to do this. If you booked only your cruise thru DCL and your land stay thru CRO, then you cannot do this.

Do they take my luggage if we are driving and not taking the Disney bus, or do we do it.?

As I recall when my parents did the land/sea a couple years ago they drove from WDW to port but their luggage was still transferred. I could be wrong on this though and we have always done the DCL transfers. Does someone else know for sure? Or check with DCL/travel agent.
