Just got DDE, do I need to call ADR?

I just got my DDE card process going. Do I need to call wdw-dine and let them know that I will be using the card and make note of that on my ADRs that I have booked? They ask when you make the ADRs, don't they? I didn't have my DDE when I made the ressies.
is that making sense?

No need to call. Just let the server know when you're ordering.

WDW-DINE asks if you're on the dining plan. Two totally different things.

DDE = discount in TS restaurants
DDP (otherwise known as Disney Dining Plan) = prepaid meals

no need to call, they don't give a piece of cheesecake care, just give to server when paying bill.

Not unless you're doing something pre-paid like CRT. I let them know when I booked that one so I was charged the discounted amount. I don't know if any other meals are pre-paid. It wouldn't make a difference on the ones where it's just a deposit (ie, CA Grill).

No need to call. We saved with family of 10 last May over $600 in 5 days. Love the DDE card.
