I just this very minute got off the phone with Disney Dining and was able to get a reservation for CRT dinner on our last night, November 6th!
I feel very fortunate, as I made all my ADRs 180+ days out and didn't even bother to reserve CRT because I have 2 boys and thought they probably couldn't care less about Cinderella or princesses. Imagine my shock this week when my son says "but Mommy, I like Cinderella and I really want to eat in the castle"
So of course I have been calling every day (actually 2 -3 times a day) to see if I could book a breakfast in the castle. No luck. So I started inquiring about dinner as well. No luck.... until just now!!
So my questions are: What is the difference between the atmosphere during breakfast and dinner? The CM just told me that the dinner is not a character experience, but that you can meet Cinderella downstairs and get a photo done. Then you go upstairs to eat in the castle. The boys would receive a sword. Also, the fairy godmother makes announcements of some kind. Does this mean there are characters, just not princesses? Will this still be enjoyable for my 2 boys or is it more "adult"? Should I keep calling to try and get a breakfast instead?
The timimg works perfectly for us since I had cancelled the Mickey's BBQ that night. I wanted to be at MK our last night to catch Spectro (our only chance to see it) and Wishes. So our dinner ADR is at 4:00 - perfect!
Any opinions?
