We just returned from our trip, May 4-10, if anyone has any questions. It was great!! I'll answer anything that I can!

The crowds weren't bad at all! We were pleasantly surprised at how much we were able to get done! We were did splash mt. and BTMRR 2 times each in under an hour! We didn't have to wait longer than 15 minutes for anything. It was great! Hope it turns out the same for you!!

Ooh, I already have another question. You may regret posting this! :earboy2:

Were you able to use the Magical Express? How was it?

Did you get to see the Barenaked Ladies in Epcot for the opening of Soarin'?

How was the traffic on the Chesapeake Bay bridge?

That's traffic.

:teeth:

What about the weather? How hot was it? How much rain?

The weather was great. It did rain the first two days but it was over almost as soon as it started! As for the rest of the week, it was very nice. It was sunny but not unbearable. We didn't even need sweatshirts for the evenings.

We didn't use the ME b/c it started the day after we got there. They said we could use it on the way back but we had rented a town car b/c we wanted to stop at the grocery store on the way there. I only heard one complaint while were there and it was b/c someone had to wait for a while to get their luggage.

We didn't. I actually didn't even know they were there. But we didn't go to Epcot until the end of our trip anyway. Had I known, I would have tried to switch our schedule around!

We went across the Annapolis Bay bridge. I think the Ch. Bay bridge is a different one?! But the traffic wasn't too bad but we also traveled in the late evening.

I just found out they were there yesterday...so had I been at WDW and NOT known, I would have never forgiven myself.

*sigh* My favorite band in my favorite place and in my favorite park...and I missed it! :guilty:

Did you do any of the EMH???? I'm wondering about the p.m. ones.
Glad you are back home safe :flower:

Hi: Did you ride soarin how was it. I am wondering if I can try it but I seem to get visually sick from moving water scenes. Just wondering if there is alot of water scenes and if you think I would get motion sickness from it.

The ride in the universe of energy showing a big screen pic of a ship floating in the water just starts a migraine headache, I have now learned to shut my eyes for that portion and I seem to be okay.

We were there 4/30-5/7 and did the evening EMH at MK. It was great. We hardly had any waits at all. Even before 9 pm BTMR had no lines. We rode it four times in a row. One time they even told us we could stay in the vehicle if we wanted to ride again. I also strongly recommend going to the parks early in the am. We didn't do any EMH in the a.m., but when we arrived early, we were able to do a lot in a short time. (I am NOT a morning person - love to sleep - but it was definitely worth getting up.)

:cheer2: I always so excited for anyone who goes to Disney World!!! How were the new rides(soarin & stunt car show)? Was the castle pretty? I can't wait, we are going Jan. 13th :cool1: I've been that same week and the weather was great & the lines were good. Any good eating places you want to comment on? :wave2:

Wow, there's an Annapolis Bay Bridge? I've lived in the Maryland/Virginia area all my life and I swear I've never seen the Annapolis Bay Bridge. The Chesapeake Bay Bridge takes you across the Cheasapeake Bay over to the Eastern Shore (starts a bit after Annapolis and drops you off into the Kent Island area???)!! :) :)

Sounds like you had a great trip. I wish my June trip would have the May crowd levels. May is my favorite time to go.

iLoveEyore2-thanks for the info - we try to get to the parks early and then escape when they get too crowded for us but I like the idea of also having the p.m. option :Pinkbounc
