We just got back last night and we had an awesome time. I will post a trip report tommorrow. The weather was great not a drop of rain but it was hot and humid but thats ok. We stayed at CBR and it was awesome as well. Lines were minimal-we walked onto just about everything. Unfortunately, I did not see any lime green ribbons which was a bummer-I would have loved to met some of you. Any questions-just ask away.

Thanks for the post! We are leaving on Saturday so the information about everything being "walk ons" is great to hear! Can't wait to leave, hope it's not crowded for us either! Glad to hear you had a good trip.

Glad you had an awesome time! Was the COP open? I remember seeing that years ago, and know my kids would enjoy it?

Glad to hear you had a great time. It looks like the crowds aren't gonna be too bad.:) Last year the crowds were very light for next week. I hope we will have good luck again!!:) I will be there with my lime green ribbons!!:) Bought them this past weekend. Hope to see everyone at the E-Ride night. Hopefully it won't be a sell out b/c we are getting there Saturday and can't get our tickets til then!! Hope everyone has a blast!!:)

Hey Trish, we were at CBR the same time as you (and got back yesterday too). I had my lime green Mickey head on my camera bag all the time. The only DIS person I ran into was Dave H. (who was sporting a lime green ribbon) while waiting for the opening of MGM on Saturday.

Which island did you stay at? We were in our usual Martinique #24.

Taximom, COP was not open. It's never been opened on our last few trips and this is one attraction we've never done.

As for ride lines, MK was the worst. Peter Pan usually had between 30-50 wait time (Fast Pass all the way!) I even saw a 25 minute wait for Small World at one point. But most others were 5 minutes or walk on, especially at other parks. I did Rockin' Rollercoaster 5 times in about a 30 minute window on Saturday. That ride needs to be about 3 minutes longer, it's just too short!

On Mother's Day, we walked right by Doug Flutie and his family near the counter service area between Main Street and Tomorrowland. We were the only ones there at the time, but I chose not to say anything to him so that he could enjoy his time with his family without being hounded for pictures or autographs. We made eye contact while he was pushing his son's wheelchair and just smiled.

Glad to hear you had a fab trip. Look forward to the reports!!

Hey Trish. You should have come to some of the meets. There were lots of DISers there this week, but I never saw any ribbons either, except on the people at the meets. The weather was wonderful, wasn’t it? I agree that it was pretty hot, but I can’t complain about that! Were any of you at the MK on Tuesday night? I swear I think it was more crowded there then I’ve ever seen it (even at Christmas!). (They had Spectro and FitS that night.) But you’re right, other than that the crowds were minimal. Sometimes it was too uncrowded! I had to wait at Living with the Land since they only had one boat running and for a while I was the only person in line! Star Wars Guy, I was at the MK on Mother’s Day too. I don’t think I would have recognized Doug Flutie even if I had seen him though!

I was at Spectro and FITS Tuesday night, and yes, it was nuts! I had not been to WDW since 1986 so I didn't have a point of reference for whether that crowd was normal or extrordinary. We lucked into a decent spot for getting out of the park quickly (balcony at the end of Main St.), but the viewing was not the best as we didn't stake out a position at the rail of the balcony 1 1/2 hours early!

I'm afraid this will be the norm if they continue to close MK early and have Spectro only a few times a week... what choice do we all have but to go the few times it's available during our time there?

I'm going back the first week of June with my family (I was there for a conference this week), and I am desperately hoping hours get extended and I don't have to put my kids through that kind of crowd experience because I know now that they will love Spectro and FITS!
