my DD and I just got back from our first time visiting WDW at Christmas and I must say that if you haven't done Disney at Christmas, YOU MUST!

We generally vacation in the spring but decided to add a mini-vacay in December this year and it was amazing!

The Magic Kingdom is even more magical and attending Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party was a blast! Where else can you see all 7 Dwarfs together at one time for a great photo-op, go to one dance party with the Toy Story gang and another one with other Disney characters, get free refreshments, see an amazing special parade and fireworks show and ride attractions with next to no line-ups? It was well worth the additional cost!

Every park was decorated for the holidays and all looked amazing! The crowds were low and we never waited more than 20-30 minutes in attraction lines with most attractions around 10-15 minutes wait (with the exception of the always busy Soarin' which had a posted 50 minute wait).

I can't say enough about the Castle. It was simply amazing.

One thing that I did notice was that at the stage shows in front of the Castle, most of the characters had moving mouths and blinking eyes. This was not the case in the parades. I think it added a very cool element of realty to the characters.

We were in The World from Dec 9-13 and I am already planning next year's spring/summer vacation!

We did Christmas there for the first time last year. We agree that MVMCP is awesome, as were the fireworks. We are going December 31 until January 14 this year. I wonder if they will still have the Christmas decorations up when we get there?

I think next year we are going to try to go from November 1 to November 9. November 1 is the last Not So Scary Halloween Party and November 8 tends to be the first Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. This way my kids get Halloween at home, hope on a plane the next days with tons of chocolate to keep their mouths quiet on the flight there, and two parties!

Welcome home. Your trip sounded wonderful.

I have been once for Christmas and loved it. We are going next Nov. can't wait.

We were there from the 4'th to the 11'th....and yes, there is only one time of the year to go to WDW and that is at Christmas time. The atmosphere is amazing. The weather can usually be iffy but other than the night of the 7'th, the weather was amazing. I had my shorts on all the time except for that night. I would spend every Christmas there if I could, but get out by the 26'th as mayhem sets in. Glad that you had a great time.

WEVE BEEN GOING THE LAST FEW YEARS FIRST WEEKS OF DEC. CROWDS WERE LOWER(well last 3 years the crowds have been busier) BUT STILL NOT BUSY IF YOU PLAN YOUR DAYS. WE JUST GOT BACK DEC 17. WE DID A COUPLE DAYS AT WDW NOV 29th TO DEC 4th THEN DREAM 4 DAY CRUISE THEN BACK TO OKW RESORT FROM 8th TO 17th. THIS YEAR WEATHER WAS BETTER. LAST YEAR IT WAS COLD AT NIGHT. WE ALWAYS DO THE CHRISTMAS PARTY, ITS WORTH THE EXTRA $50. USUALLY FIRST WEEKEND IN DEC THEY ARE FILMING THE CHRISTMAS PARADE FOR CHRISTMAS DAY SO IT CAN GET VERY BUSY EARLY MORNING AT MK.
