Just got back Saturday from my first trip in 15 years! I'm still a little sad it's over. Had a great time at the Halloween party, all the parks and hanging out with RAPStar for a few days! I have made my partner into a believer in the magic that is Disney. He already can't wait to go back!

ahh... halloween party. sorry. took me a minute. Nope, it's not too much different than a regular park. except they put on special shows like the villians mix and mingle and special fireworks and parade. They give you bags so you can trick or treat and you are encouraged to dress up in costume although you are by no means required to. My only tip for you is to HAVE FUN!!!

I'm going to my 2nd halloween party on 10/3 (the first last year). I loved it! There was a special magic in the air knowing everyone was trick or treating, and all the decorations were up, and the haunted mansion had lots of attention. There were so many photopass opportunities! I could go on and on! It was that magical.

Glad you had a great time - we did the Halloween Party once and that was enough lol. It was cute but that was itl I likes the Christmas Party better.

October overall is a great time to go though - glad you had a great time and for converting!

October (Halloween) and Christmas times are my favorite time to visit the parks.
