And I've got to say, I DO NOT like what they've done to the line queue for the attraction formerly known as the Dueling Dragons. Otherwise....stay onsite.

We were done with WWoHP every morning by 9, and that includes Olivanders.
Forbidden Journey is, well, it's really taken theme park rides to a whole 'nother level, and you'll enjoy the line queue as well.

I get horrible vertigo with simulators, and this was no exception (I can ride coasters all day and give you change back), but this was well worth it. It's certainly not "just" a simulator.

What changes have been made to the Dragon's Challenge queue?

We are going next month, staying onsite so I'm glad to hear we will be able to manage WWOHP as my DH was getting worried after reading some of the reports here.

They just took out everything showing the carnage wrought by the dragons.

Get there before 8 and you should be just fine.

I agree. The dragon's queue is very disappointing.

Does Dramamine or ginger capsules help with the vertigo? I will be sick all day if I get dizzy on it in the morning.

Good thing I took some pictures of the old queue...I just wish I had taken more. I will really miss Merlin telling you the story of Fire and Ice as you walked into the castle. :sad2:

The actual coaster has not changed one bit.. if you couldn't ride DD, you can't ride DC..
on that note, I suffer from Vertigo and can ride this ride. I think because it goes so fast, my eyes aren't seeing everything to have an attack. I do keep them opened and focus on my feet.. if I looked up to the sky, it would happen. Also if I close them, it will happen

I like the new queue, but I'm a big HP fan. The old queue would have made no sense anymore.

This may sound silly but the old DD queue was always the most memorable part of IOA for me - walking towards the castle past the dragons along flower-lined paths and over the little wooden stick-railed bridge, the castle rooms with the tome, suspended frozen knights etc, entering the dungeon, the feeling of immersion in the dungeon because of its length and sound effects. I will miss it.
