Just Got Back

Hello,

We just got back last night. The kids had a great trip. I can't find my photopass card with all my pictures on it.

I'll try and put together a trip report later this week with a few of my pictures.

My dd got to meet 6 princesses and my ds got to meet Donald Duck. They each "drove" the monorail 3 times this past week.

Found my photopass card. It only rained one time last week. Friday afternoon for 3 hours while we were at Magic Kingdom. I'll write more later.

Its been a busy day. Unpacked, half the laundry is done, been to the store, baseball practice and kids in bed for school tomorrow.

Sounds like fun, now back to reality What do you have to do to get to drive the monorail?? My kids would love that.

To "drive" the monorail just ask one of the cast members working the station and they'll check for you. Only 4 can ride up front with the driver. We found that the mid-day monorail running from the transportation center to Epcot and back was the best bet for it.

Of course they won't actually DRIVE the monorail, but rather get to be Co-Pilots in the front cab of the monorail and the kids usually get a little card stating something to the effect that they are now Co-Pilots of the monorail system. Great little souvenier for the kids. As the OP said there are only 4 additional persons allowed up front with the driver. The ride to Epcot will take the longest allowing them the most time in the cockpit, but if you decide to ride the MK loop, just don't get out at a resort at least until you have made a complete loop.

We just got back last night too...we too had a great trip and I have been scared to admit it but I think I also and trying to get a cold. Annoying cough and runny nose...started on the drive back home. Oh well...maybe if I start planning my next trip I will feel better...how bout we give it a try!?

Awwww I'm glad you had a great time, time to start planning the next trip! So how were the crowds? I know it's pre Easter, but am hoping post Easter will have similar crowds when we go.

Glad you had a good trip. I am looking to start planning our first trip as a family. I have been and my husband has been, and we went while we were dating (I worked there so it was easy enough) but we have not been since we got married and had kids. It will help once he is back in the county.
