We left early Saturday morning and was Epcot's entrance at 8:30 a.m., just to find out that the park didn't open till 10! Oh well, my bad for not checking. We went to Dowtown Disney and ate b'fast at MickeyD's, then headed back to Epcot. We had our renewal tix for the annual passes, stood in a line for over 45 minutes, which never even moved, so we decided to go pick up our dinner pkg. for the Candlelight instead (no line there at all) then went to AK to renew (no line there either!). We did Dinosaur...only a 10 minute stand by, then left to check in at The Marriott whose great price I found here on the Board. My DD was thrilled they had a pool, so she went swimming for a bit and I got to rub in the fact that she was outside swimming on December 15th to my MN native hubby
We went back into Epcot around 4, there was a massive line at TestTrack, so we went over to The Wonders of Life Pavillon for a bit. Our Candlelight was at 6:45, we got there at a little past 6 and the people were already lined up waiting. It was beautiful, as always. We saw Alfre Woodard narrate it. Our dinner res. was at Mexico, and we had the sweetest waitress, her name was Margarita, which influenced me to get an actual one! YUMM! We were back in the hotel by 11 p.m. and sound asleep by 11:30.
Then on Sunday we went to MGM, which I must say was the most Christmasy of all the parks, then headed over to MK. None of the parks were terribly crowded, but then again, schools aren't out for the holidays yet either. I did notice that at least 95% of the cars there had FL. tags. I know some were probably rentals, but most the time, there is quite a variety (my DD loves to look at all the different plates in the parking lots). We went to Downtown Disney after MK and ate at The Rainforest Cafe. We were on the road by 9 p.m., home by 11....only to do it all again in 2 weeks for New Years!
