Just got back today from BWI!!!

DH, Granddaughter and I just got home today from a truly magical trip!!

We spent the week at the BWI, out first time there, but definately not our last!! We LOVED it there! OMG, talk about a great resort!! My DH keeps saying "I loved it there Mar! That is where we are staying from now on!"

The resort is beautiful. The staff is very attentive. We had a water view that was totally awesome! Our granddaughter loved the pool and slide! (so did I)

We will not hesitate for one second going back there again!

We had perfect weather every single day! We will definately go back this time of year again!

Hi Deb!!! Missed you girlfriend!!!

Tinkbell, we were in room 5269...we overlooked the Boardwalk looking towards Big River and the Dancehall. We could see the Yacht Club and Beach Club....and yes!!! We could see WISHES!!! It was awesome!!! We totally enjoyed watching everyone walking around the Boardwalk, and watching the kids do cartwheels and playing on the lawn!

Welcome Back!
The BWI is our favorite Resort. We are returning for 3 weeks at the end of June.
I asked my 2 teenaged sons where they would like to go and it was THE BOADWALK!
We are going to be celebrating my oldest sons graduating high school and both of
their birthdays. I am so excited! It will be our 3rd visit and we are
already planning next March again.

Everyone is so nice and friendly!

Welcome back newmousecateer! Just wanted to add my two cents worth and agree wholeheartedly -- Boardwalk is our favorite resort too! We like to try other resorts, but we always end up saying we like it there best. And we are going back soon -- see my counter!!

We have eaten a continental breakfast inside the hotel at the Belleview Lounge -- good, quiet atmosphere. We have eaten at the Boardwalk Bakery -- mmmm delish, at Spoodles -- fabulous, and at the ESPN numerous times-- (my DS favorite!~ I liked it too)

There are a lot of options -- this trip we are walking around Crescent Lake and eating at Cape May Cafe character Breakfast in the BC and the Yachtsman Steakhouse in the YC.

You will love the BWI!


Oohh -- I forgot to add that we ate sandwiches from the Leaping Libations poolside bar too! (not to mention pina coladas )

I'm so glad to hear the good review. It was so hard to chose a resort and after I picked BWI, I kept having second thoughts about my choice. How old is your granddaughter? Were the rooms noisy at night? May is such a great month for Disney - our favorite - so I'm a little (a lot) nervous about going in August! This will be our first trip where we take a mid-afternoon break at the hotel pool, I'm sure. Plus with the prices you pay for your room, you want to get your money's worth of emenities. Tell us your favorite places to go eat at BW. Thanks again for the info.

I must agree - we stayed at the BWI a few years ago and thoroughly enjoyed the resort. Our room faced the courtyard and the suites with the picket fences. It was very quiet and peaceful. We had a patio room so I could walk out the patio and to the quiet pool as long as DH was in the room napping. We had breakfast each morning at the Belleview Lounge and sat out on the porch with our coffee. We, also, ate at Spoodles and the Flying Fish.

eljojo....our granddaughter is 8 1/2, and she loved the room, the Boardwalk and absolutely loved the slide at the pool.

No, the rooms are not noisy at night. We never heard the people next to us, not once! They do play the music from the dance hall over a speaker till around midnight, but with the balcony doors closed, that was never a problem for any of us.

The bakery is awesome. Our favorite place for breakfast was actually the Galley at the Yachtclub. Just hopped on a boat and we were there in 2 minutes. The Yachtman's Steakhouse is absolutey fabulous. DH had a wonderful steak, and I had the rack of lamb...wonderful!!

Mousekeeping was excellent, and every CM we encountered was very friendly (love the "Welcome Home!" ).

I wanna go baaaaack!!!!!

We are fans of the resort too! We have stayed at the BWV's and LOVED it! We had a veiw of the promenade and it was soooo great. We could see Illuminations every night. That veiw is a little noisy at night but not really too bad. The noise usually died down by 10:00 to 11:00. We were there with 6 people and I am the only one who noticed any noise. (it was the basketball game outside that was the most annoying! ) BUT having said that I can't wait to return in October! It has an awesome location, great restaurants, and the pool is the BEST!
