Just got back - thanks to all for tips

Hi

We had a fab time. The weather was disappointing, lots of rain and cloud. We stayed off site at the County Inn and Suites in LBV. Ideal location.

For some reason the parks were very busy, especially MK. With a fast pass for space mountain, we had to wait 30 mins twice to ride!

Best shopping walmart on the 535 and Orlando Premium outlets, best Park, if you like thrill rides, sorry its Islands of Adventure. Best Fireworks, MK. Best show Fanmantastic (MGM).

We had breakfast with Mickey at Chef Mickey's, worth every penny (£35) and highly recommended. We also ate at Hollywood and Vine, fantastic food (£40).

Matthew got to ride on the monorail up front with the driver 6 times.

Broke every rule in the book about rest days in between park days due to bad weather, so we are all completly shattered.

Only 4 years till we can go back again, have started saving again.

Weve been back 1 week and the weather spoilt our holiday too. Agree with you that IOA is the best park for thrill rides and loved MK fireworks. We also did Chef Mickey (second time) but did Hollywood and Vine for the first time and really enjoyed it, would do it even without the fantasmic package.

We are hoping to go back in 3 years, but the weather this time has put us off a bit. BB and TL are not the same when its cloudy and raining.
