Stayed at the RPR from 7/2 - 7/7.

Dinner - Margarittville, Hard Rock, Pastamore, Tchop chop.

Did all of IOA

Went to US.

Did Adventure Express tour at Seaworld. Best day!

Went to Citywalk several times. Think I just about went in every store.

Went to the movies twice. Nice theater!

Daughter got her hair braided at Citywalk.

Took a boat ride over to the PBH. Beautiful resort! Will stay here next time.

If anyone has any questions or needs any info for their upcoming trip, please don't hesitate to ask.

Glad you had a good trip! Did you make ressies for the restaurants or did you just show your room key for Priority Seating?

I had ressies for every restaurant except Hard Rock. They had a seperate line for priority seating which is off to the right of the main entrance. You take the stairs to go up to the second level. Staff is up there waiting for you. They didn't even ask to see my cards. Waited at the most 5 minutes to be seated. The only place I really needed a ressie at was Tchop Chop. The other ones are not a problem just showing your card if you don't mind waiting at least 10 minutes.

Hello!!
We're going to the RPR in October. Here's my question: did the restuarants seem like they could handle special requests? We have a family with a significant number of food allergies that are quite specific. Did the staff seem like they could handle that?

What were the must sees at SeaWorld? Any Tips? How was the meal at Tchoup Chop?

This is how my tour went.

Went on Kraken. Great! Went to the Clyde and Seamore show and the Shamu show. Great seats and good. Went behind the scenes to see the penguins and pet them. Walked through Wild Artic but wasn't able to do the ride. There was a problem with it and we couldn't wait around. Gave us an express pass for later that day. Went to feed the dolphins, stingrays and sea lions. Great fun! Best part our tour guide gets all the food. Don't have to stand in line. Rode Journey to Atlantis. Fun! The new Waterfront looks nice. Plenty of stores. Wasn't able to go through them because I had to leave after my tour. I highly recommend the Adventure Express tour. Our tour guide was great! His name is Robert. He also teaches there. Very intelligent man. Learned a lot.

Can't help you with this question. My family doesn't have any food allergies. Didn't notice anyone or hear anyone talking about this subject. The staff at the restaurants are very nice. I am sure they would be able to work something out for you.

Hi. Thanks for the report. What was your impression of RPR? You stated you would stay at PBH next time. We are staying at RPR in two weeks and are very excited. Did you enjoy your stay there? Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

RPR is nice. The standard room is a bit small for four people. Only one sink, I am used to having two. The resort is pretty but when I took the ride over to Portofino I just got a different feeling. We walked around and we all agreed, Me, DH, DD, and DS (kids ages 14 and 12) that this was more our type of resort. The kids did have fun at the pool at RPR though. I guess another reason why I would stay at Portofino next time because I had already stayed at the HR also. The only downside to the Portofino is having to take the boat all the time. I think the walk would be too long. I do like having the option of walking or riding the boat.

I did enjoy my stay there. The staff was very nice. We did experience one slight problem and that was dirty towels. This happened twice. So the second time my husband took it down to the front desk to simply make them aware that this was happening. They said they were very sorry, and that dirty towels were not acceptable and would take every step to fix the problem. When we got back to our room that night there was a bottle of wine there and a note from the assistant manager saying how sorry he was. The rest of the week we had clean towels.

thank you for responding, even if there's not a lot you know. I'm grateful for your postings and am really looking forward to our trip in October.

Thanks Noseybuddy. There are three of us going to RPR in two weeks. My DS is 10. I hope he will enjoy it there. I inquired into changing our ressies to the PBH but was told that they had "no room at the inn". This is through the Universal Vacations people because that is how I made my reservation for RPH. I'm glad you had a good time and that you thought the resort was nice. We'll give it a try and hope for the best. I would agree with you about the walking/riding to the parks. Thanks again for your report. It was helpful.

sherries do not worry about RPR. it was wonderful for kids. we had 2 13 year olds and they liked the royal pac, and the room view of the IOA and hulk. I stayed at Portofino, and its very nice as well, but it seemed more formal and more tuned to an older guests. the water play area at RPR is good for 10 year old, so do not worry that u picked anything but a top notch trip. have fun!!!
