Just Got Back Rented From Apple Scooter

And because I had read on here some very negative non trusting statements I was VERY apprehensive but they were the cheapest and said "new scooters". Well let me tell you their website might be listed to some "computer rental" IP but they were the BOMB!!!! I got what looked like a BRAND NEW scooter and when I had a problem with the seat back they sent a tech to my hotel (off property) in a super nice new huge box truck and switched it out pronto (said they had never seen that before and the seat looked brand new). Very very professional these people are. When compared to the scooters I saw from Walker and some others there was NO comparison. I charged my scooter at nite and even after a FULL day of riding it was still showing FULL CHARGE!! I could not belive it. I am a bit over 300lbs also.

I was to pick my scooter up this past saturday morning and when we arrived at our hotel Friday evening it was already waiting on me. Also I didn't have to drop it off early in the morning of the day of our departure, where some would charge an extra day. They called me on the phone and asked when I would be returning it to luggage services and I said around 11am...no extra day charge.

I will only rent from them from now on.

PS: They delivered offsite and picked up onsite (we did a split stay).

Do not be concerned about renting from them. You get the best scooters for the best price. (8 day rental of the HD scooter was less than 190.00 all included, they don't charge or encourage insurance like some do).

Hey I think they should give me a discount on my next rental for this review...haha, but no seriously I was encouraged to write because what I had read on this board about trusting them, etc was sooooooo WRONG.

Apple Scooter is Rockin'. We did it last December. We had no problems and just like you it was waiting for us the night before. We took in an earlier arrival unexpectedly. The rep told us it would be there early; so, we got a little extra time out of it for no extra charge. We did have to drop it off early though like 7:30am; because, he had another customer needing it on our departure day. I didn't mind; we dropped it off the night before.

For the price I believe you get exceptional value. I hope the prices and service continue with them.

Which model did you use. My DH will be a first time scooter user on our upcoming trip. I am leaning toward the 4 wheeled ones. Did the Apple scooters meet all the new size requirements for the WDW busses?

I rented the HD one and it met all the size requirements. I like the three wheel one better than 4 wheel. Sorry took so long to reply.

That's ok, I've already booked it! Alex seems very nice. They are going to meet us and give my husband the 411 since he has never used one before. I think the pricing is great so we'll see next week how it goes! I got him the 3 wheeled one with the larger seat so I am sure it will be fine.

I am SO excited - they rent powerchairs!!! If I am going for a week, I will fly with my powerchair, but we are thinking about a 2 night quick trip, and they rent powerchairs for just 3 days! And they cost HALF as much as Buena Vista Scooters!

I just made my reservation with them for June. I went with the 3 wheeled model. I have pretty bad RA and like to move and stretch out my legs in front of me. The 4 wheeled models were uncomfortable - I had to left my legs high then kind of rest them on the wheel covers. I'm looking forward to having the angled floor in front of me.

We're also having them meet us there to go over the battery charging, folding and transporting. We'll have our own van but I think I'll be using the bus for MK. I'm a little scared of doing that but it's so much easier to bus to MK so I'll just deal with it.
