Unfortunately I forgot to take photos. Usually I was just glad to be in the warmth and didn't want to bother with my backpack.
TS meals:
Cape May café- character breakfast: We were seated immediately. Very good food -especially the "healthy" section (fresh fruits, asparagus, yoghurts,...), relaxed atmosphere as the restaurant was only half full, great staff, there were only three characters: Minnie, Donald and Goofy in beach gear, interaction was nice but short, considering that there weren't many guests
'Ohana- character breakfast: We were seated at restaurant opening. I don't really like family style, they brought a huge plate with eggs, bacon, sausages, etc. which we couldn't finish (I hate food being thrown away), the food got cold very quickly, as the temperature in the restaurant was very low. Staff was nice, not overly cheerful, but really ok, character interaction with Lilo, Stitch, Mickey and Pluto was good.
Akershus- Princess storybook dining: we had a reservation for 7 pm and had to wait about 20 minutes for our table. We saw many families without reservations being turned away. We thought that the food was a bit bland. My mother had the meatballs and was so disgusted by them that she had to leave the park as she thought she was going to throw up. I had chicken with risotto which was ok but nothing special. Interaction with the Princesses (Belle outside, Aurora, Ariel, Snow white and Cinderella visiting the tables) was very good, especially Ariel was extremely sweet.
Crystal palace- character breakfast: We were seated immediately at 8:05 am. This was the best staff we encountered, our waiter Vinnie was absolutely great. Buffet was great, we enjoyed the omelette station. Character interaction was not so good, for some reason Eeyore hadn't make it to any table in the left side section by 9:10 am and was postioned near the entrance so the children could go to him. The people at the table next to us had to wait for Tigger for almost one hour. I don't know what was wrong but everything seemed a bit disorganised.
Mama Melrose's- fantasmic dinner package: very good value as you get an appetizer even when paying with the dining plan. We had the calamari for two (very crispy), tuna steak (great!!) and Pasta with chicken (also very good). My father didn't enjoy the tiramisu as this wasn't traditional tiramisu but something with ice cream, I really liked the amarettini cheesecake. Staff was great, drinks were refilled frequently.
CS meals:
Captain Cook- we didn't like it at all. The atmosphere reminds me of a school cafeteria. We had a noodle dish with chicken which was so salty I couldn't finish it. Caesar salad was ok.
Pecos Bill- it was extremely crowded but staff was very helpful. We were shown an empty table immediately. I love the pork barbecue sandwich and the huge fixing station.
Sunshine Seasons: The selection is huge, the entire family was satisfied, especially liked the Maki.
Yakitori house: We had Sushi, Teryaki and Udon and liked everything. I'm in Japan very often and was surprised that my Udon tasted just as it should taste.
We used the dining plan for the first time and really liked it. It was more than enough food and I think that the plan is very user friendly.
