We just got back a few days ago. This time was a bit different as we didn't make any PSs but one so I was a little nervous. Surprisingly enough we had no problems getting into where we wanted to eat.

On Thurs. 12-16 we went to MGM and decided to eat at the SCI FI. We got a table right away. It wasn't in the car but one of the tables in the back, but it was still nice. Actually it worked out well for us as it gave our small children more room to move around when they got restless because we were out of the way. The food was very good. It did take awhile for it to arrive and the waitress was not very attentive.

Fri 12-17 we got in 1900 Park Fair without PSs for breakfast. There wasn't much of a wait at all. What little one there was we walked around the lobby of the GF and looked at the decorations. It was buffet style and we all seemed to like the food. The eggs were very runny though and I thought the floor next to the buffet line was incredibly dirty. The character interaction was good. We had a later seating so my girls ended up with some one on one time with Belle. She took them outside and let them pick flowers with her. The waitress was terrible. She only came to our table one time to refill our juices and when she did she slopped it all over the table. Additionally, she misplaced my parents credit card and we had to wait while she found it.

That evening we went to Liberty Tree Tavern before the MVMCP. We did have PSs for that and it was a 45 min. wait! I guess it is a busy place. The character interaction was not that great. They all seemed so rushed, except for Chip and Dale. Out of every character meal I have been at Chip and Dale has always been so attentive. The food was incredible! Our waiter was hard to find though. My youngest actually had a bathroom accident because she told me she had to go and I told her we had to wait for the waiter so I could tell him we weren't leaving we were just going to the potty. It took him 1/2 hour or so to return so she didn't quite make it.

Sat. 12-18 we ate in Italy at EPCOT for lunch. Oh my gosh...I highly recommend this place. Again, we didn't have a PS but we got right in. The waitress told us this would be the best meal we've ever had at WDW and she was right. It was a little pricey but worth every dime! The portions were hearty so you definately didn't go away hungry. We ordered a meat and cheese appetizer. All the food is imported from Italy. I wasn't crazy about this, but my exh liked it. I had chicken parmesan (it wasn't called that on the menu but that is what it was) it was delicious. My exh had a sampler platter that came with several different dishes. My girls had spaghetti. The services was probably the best we've had at WDW. I am looking forward to visiting again.

Sun 12-19 we ate at Rainforest Cafe at AK for lunch. I love going to this place. The atmosphere is fabulous. Our service has always been terrific. My girls got pizza, I ordered a Turkey wrap, and my exh had shrimp and steak. Again, pricey but always worth it.

That evening we stopped at O'hana's on our way back in and got our name in for dinner. We went back to our room to change and only waited 5 mins or so when we got back to the GCH. Of course it was fabulous! The girls loved the activities. The waitress didn't charge us for the girls because although they are 3 and 4 they ate nothing so she fixed it for us. That was nice. My exh and I shared a lapu lapu. Wow...I don't know how one person can drink one of those, it was hard for us to drink it all and we were sharing.

Mon 12-20 we just grabbed a bite to eat while we were at MK. For lunch Ray's starlight and for dinner peco's bill's. They no longer serve hot dogs for adults at Peco's bills, so we got kids meals. I do like the kids meals now though, they came with hot dog (or whatever you order) and you can choose if you don't want fries (my girls got fries) a side of apple sauce and you can choose juice now instead of pop.

Tues. 12-21 we stopped in O'hana without a PS and got right into the character breakfast. The food was great, but the waitress was just not a happy person. The girls loved the characters and the parade with Mickey in the restaurant was really fun for them.

So that sums it up. I don't think I'm going to make many Ps's when we go back again, it seemed like this Sept we were always planning our day around when and where our next PS was and this way we ate when we wanted, where we wanted and didn't have to decide 90 days in advance what we were going to be eating. Of course princess breakfast and Cindy's would require a PS but since we arrived a day later than planned we had to cancel the PSB and couldn't get in for the rest of the stay.

Thanks for the reviews! I always make PS way ahead of time and then end up cancelling and going somewhere else.

Great reviews. Alfredo's may be on the radar for our next trip. Thanks.
:D

Thanks for the reviews. Wow you did alot better then my DH and I did last year during the first week in Dec when we were there with no PS's. We were turned away from many of our favorites like Rose and Crown and LeCellier when we tried to do walk ins. Maybe we just had bad luck.

Thanks. I have always managed to get good PS's the same day. One time we were at AK and decided to go to Boma for dinner as soon as the park closed.. I went to guest services at the park and got right in!

Enjoyed your reviews. Sounds like you enjoyed some nice meals.
