We just got back on Sunday and this weekend I'll post a trip report.
But before I forget, I just want to let you know what I really wish I should have done. It might sound stupid, but I think it would have helped me, a lot!
Blisters..... We all get them.
I took a tip from other DIS'ers and purchased the mole skin. However, we did not bring scissors. When we did get the blisters, the package says to cut a piece big enough to cover the blister, but to make sure you cut a hole so the blister can come through the middle of the mole skin patch so the blister doesn't get crushed, which would give you pain, etc.
I tried that, but because the patch itself was small, I couldn't cut that circle in the middle without cutting it straight through.
My suggestion: Before you leave on your trip, try to remember which toes you get the blisters on. Measure the mole skin, cut the small squares to fit And Then bring with you a Hole Puncher.
When I was down there, I said, I wish I brought my hole puncher. It would make perfect holes, and I could make two or three holes, the size of the blister, and it would have fit perfect.
I do have to say the mole skin definitely helped, even if it wasn't perfect; And Thank You for giving us that tip. But I wish I had taken five minutes before the trip to cut the squares and bring my hole puncher.
Hope this helps....
