My husband and I did a quick anniversary trip over the weekend. We hadn't been in 3 years! Before that, we used to take our kids there every year! I was anxious to see if we would get a bounceback offer for September, as we are really wanting to take a big family trip then. I called today to even check if there was ANY offer for us. NOTHING. So, I'm not sure I'll book for Sept. I know a discount is only by chance...but it sure would have been great! LOL

You have to call ext 8844 from your room phone. There is a bounceback offer. Sorry you missed it.

What a BUMMER!! I didn't know that, and there wasn't a thing to tell me about it in my room or otherwise. Really disappointed.

I know it's too late now, but there's almost always a bounceback available. You may not get the paperwork, but if you call the right extension (8844) while you're still at the resort, they'll go over the details and tell you what's available. Many people miss the paper offers, but you don't need to have it to book. Sorry!

But if you're looking at September, there's usually a public Free Dining offer available. It will come out late spring/early summer so keep an eye out! And sometimes people get PINs even before the public offer is open.

It was for a room discount, but if you have a large group going, I would watch for free dining to be released for Sept. in the next couple of months. Good luck!

That stinks you missed it! We were there 3/5-3/9 and the BB was in the room, it was kind of tucked away stapled inside the packet they give you when you check in. As smitch said it's currently a room discount. But keep watching for the Sept. discounts!

I was there is Dec/Jan and didn't get a bounceback offer (I didn't even know what they were until I got back). I called and explained that I didn't recieve one and I didn't even know what they were, and asked if there was anyway I could still qualify - they hooked me and I was able to still book with the bounceback discount. It's worth a shot to call.

This happened to friends of ours too. They called within 2 days after returning and the CM was able to look in the system and see they were just in Disney, so they were able to book the BB. I think the key is to call asap and explain you couldn't find the BB offer in your room.

As a side note, the last couple of trips our BB offer has been inside a little booklet that we receive at check-in. A flyer-type BB used to be on the room dressers, but I think too many of them kept disappearing so they now staple them inside the booklet.

The past several trips I have found it stapled into the how to make calls from the phone booklet. Usually in the middle. There has always been a BB offer for the past 2 years back to back even if no fliers are in the rooms.

anyone remember the dates for BB?? I booked a BB offer for fall.... but I remember the dates being very limited! like to only a few weeks! I wish I would have taken a pic of the offer. :confused3

Yes the bounce back offer is stapled into the middle of the "Be Our Guest" booklet that you get upon check in (or may already be in your room). It really isn't as obvious as it used to be, especially back when it was cardboard advertisement standing on the table or desk.

In any event always dial 8844 from you room and ask, as even the offer in the room may not be valid anymore if you have an old copy.

Bounceback dates:
1/3-7
1/11-15
1/19-2/11
2/16-4/1
4/10-5/20
7/23-10/4
10/16-11/5
11/8-20
12/11-23

I found that if you are booking at a Deluxe resort, sometimes the rates on Orbitz are at least as good, combining Disney seasonal promotional rates with the Orbitz promo code.

The current RO BB at Deluxe is 35%; the anticipated Disney summer promo at Deluxe is 30%. Book it on Orbitz using the Orbitz 15% promo, and your rate should be better than BB. You have to make sure, though, that you are booking the discounted rate on Orbitz, which is not yet out for September.

The major drawback with Orbitz is that they charge you for the entire stay upfront. The change/cancellation policies are the same as Disney. You can make room requests with Orbitz, just like with Disney - usually one week in advance of arrival; just call Orbitz to make your requests.

OP: If it makes you feel better, I booked a BB when I was there in January (I think its the same now: room only discount). I got POFQ at a great rate, for April (not Easter week).

I've since canceled it: Orbitz was more than 10% less than the BB! (At Orbitz, the spring discount - same as on Disney's website - is combined with a 15% Orbitz code - there's always an Orbitz code, and you can stack those discounts with Disney's room only discounts. I also got the Orbitz Visa card, which adds 5% Orbucks to the 5% you earn booking via the app.)

I actually did exactly the same, including cancelling my January-booked BB reservation for this spring and switching to Orbitz; I did not, however, get the Orbitz Visa card.
When I called to cancel, I was asked if I needed to change the dates; I replied that I was cancelling, as the Orbitz rate was better. There was no response.

The other benefit of Orbitz is that they sometimes have better room availability than Disney.
